Funeral for a feline in a Pet Sematary.

This past Monday was my first time attending a cat funeral, I remember when I was 16 years old a cat had been ran over in front of my friend's house. We tried to pick up his furry body so the cars wouldn't keep running over him.But his body was so stiff...he had been there for days it was the saddest thing. We gave up and decided to call the city.
I was also 16 when I had the honor of  meeting a 26 year old cat that lived at the Pan Pipes store in Hollywood(may i mention I recently found out it was once owned by Fairuza Balk)
I don't know if he's still alive BUT i sure hope Mcmittens gets to live that long or even longer!

Back to the funeral,I packed a few things that we might need for her grave.A pumpkin shaped candle with the scent of pumpkin spice and some crosses.I also took two cans of frieskis.I saw it as Mcmittens & Bubbachee sending their condolences,to Picadilly's children & Mozzy the black cat. I regret not taking a photo of Picadilly the last time I was there.

This is Jordana & Norman, one is from Picadilly's second litter and the other from her third..I believe.

This adorable furry one was also one of Picadilly's sons, i can't remember his name
but he was seen on the front porch taking care of her the last few weeks she was there.

Morrisey The black cat & head of the Sue Place.

When i arrived to the Sue Place I was greeted by Morrissey who was sitting under the table and he began to bathe himself in a hurry. He almost seemed upset that he hadn't been warned there was going to be a guest!
But as soon as i took out the canned food from my bag he seemed delighted.Since wet food only comes once in a blue moon or for special occasions.
Marie & I sat down had a few beers & Mimosas...because we've traded in the Jameson & my personal favorite the Kraken for mimosas....just for a few months.
Anyways we ordered Veggie pizza & then headed out to
the backyard.

3 feet under and possibly the cutest grave....the thought of my friends backyard being indian burial grounds crossed my mind too...what if ? She comes back to life but evil.Oh if only.
Oh C'mon Winston Churchill was still very adorable when he came back,
On a serious note.
Watching my friend bury one of her children was really tough.
I bawled like a baby afterwards.I don't wanna think about when it's time for mine to leave me.
What amazes me the most was she made her way to my friend's house and it was almost like she was waiting for her to get home so she could rest.
We love and miss you Picadilly Pelare you were a sweet cat & we'll forever remember you.

We baked cute cupcakes afterward to lighten the mood a bit.

I leave you with this ..I don't like cat funerals.I feel it's more heart breaking when animals pass...I see them as innocent beings that do no wrong...so go home and give your litto furry one a tight hug.
